Hi.

Welcome to my blog. Hope you have a nice stay!

HelloFresh vs Chefs Plate vs Goodfood

HelloFresh vs Chefs Plate vs Goodfood

Over the past few months, I’ve tried three popular meal subscription services: HelloFresh, Chef’s Plate, and Goodfood. In this blog post, I’ll break things down by food, price, and logistics, then give my opinion on which subscription kit is best.

Also, it should be noted that Chef’s Plate is a division within HelloFresh, so they share several similarities in website structure, meal variety, and sustainability.

Food (best taste)

Personally, I enjoyed my meals from Chef’s Plate the most. They were also easier and less involved than the recipes from HelloFresh and Goodfood.

Price (best value)

Though all three subscriptions have similar prices, Chefs Plate offers the best value at $9 per serving.

Logistics (best user experience)

Once again, Chef’s Plate provided me with the best user experience. They were the most flexible with plan sizes, and I found their website easy and intuitive to use. I also want to note that none of the three meal services stood out to me in terms of sustainability. Each included a lot of plastic and waste.

Best overall

Obviously, if you read the sections above, you’ll know that I found Chef’s Plate to be the best overall subscription kit, ranking number one in all three of the above categories.
