Cauliflower Wings

Cauliflower Wings

Let’s wing it

  • Prep time: 15 mins

  • Cook time: 20 mins

  • Makes about 20 wings

  • Vegan

Ingredients

  • 1 head of cauliflower

  • 1 cup of water

  • 2/3 cup of all-purpose flour

  • 1 tbs of garlic powder

  • 1 tbs of cumin

  • 1/2 tbs of ground pepper

  • Your choice of wing sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees F

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper

  • Wash and break the cauliflower into bite-sized pieces

  • Mix the flour, water, and spices in a medium-sized bowl

  • Combine your cauliflower bites with the batter and mix until each piece is fully coated

  • Lay each piece of cauliflower on a baking sheet, shaking off any excess batter (I find the easiest way to do this is to pour the cauliflower and batter into a strainer before placing the pieces on the baking sheet)

  • Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown, flipping halfway through

  • Once the wings are done their first bake, remove them from the oven and toss them in your wing sauce of choice

  • Return the cauliflower wings to the baking sheet and bake for another 5 minutes

  • Serve with your favourite dipping sauce (I like ranch)!
