Mom's Cherry Cheesecake

Mom's Cherry Cheesecake

This is my mom’s no-bake cherry cheesecake recipe

  • Prep time: 15 mins

  • Set time: 6-8 hours

  • Contains dairy

Ingredients

  • 1 bag/box of crushed graham crackers

  • 1/2 cup of melted unsalted butter

  • 1 can of cherry pie filling

  • 1 brick of Philadelphia cream cheese

  • 1 cup of heavy cream

  • 1 envelope of Dream Whip (you’ll have to buy a box, and the envelopes come in the box)

  • 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract

  • 1/4 cup of sugar

Instructions

  • Mix together the crushed graham crackers and melted butter

  • Press this into the base of a baking dish (or pie dish)

  • Combine the cream cheese, heavy cream, Dream Whip, vanilla extract, and sugar - beat until smooth

  • Pour this mixture onto the pie crust

  • Leave the baking dish in your fridge for 6-8 hours (overnight is ideal)

  • Add your cherries on top and pray that the base set (if you’re eating cheesecake soup it did not set)

  • Enjoy!
