Basic Pesto

Contains dairy (vegan version below)
Ingredients
2 cups basil leaves
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
2 handfuls pinenuts (or walnuts)
3 garlic cloves (minced)
1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil
Up to 1/2 cup of water
Instructions
Add all ingredients except the water into a blender and blend
Add as much of the water as necessary until the pesto is blended
Plant-Based Pesto

Vegan
Ingredients
2 cups of basil leaves
2 tbsp of nutritional yeast
2 handfuls of chopped walnuts
3 minced garlic cloves
1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
Add all ingredients into a blender and blend!
If it’s not mixing well, add a splash of cold water
