Energy Bites

Easy, fast, versatile

Ingredients

  • 1 cup oats

  • ½ cup water

  • 2 tbsp your choice of sweetener (nut butter, honey, maple syrup, Nutella, etc.)

  • 1 cup your choice of crunch (nuts, seeds, dried fruits, chocolate chips, etc.)

  • Note that these measurements are just to start you off; you can add more or less of any ingredient should you feel necessary

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. (if you don’t want to use the oven, you can set these bites in the fridge instead)

  • Combine the water and your choice of sweetener in a medium-sized bowl and mix

  • Add the oats and your choice of crunch

  • Use your hands to make small balls out of the batter and place them on a lined baking sheet

  • Note: if the mixture isn’t sticking together, add more water until it becomes sticky and clumpy. You can also sprinkle dry oats over the formed balls to help the structure stay together.

  • Bake for 5 mins (or cool in the fridge for at least 20 mins)

  • Enjoy!
