Makes 4 large burgers
Ingredients
1 can of black beans
Your choice of spices (I used garlic, black pepper, and coriander)
1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
2 tbsp of BBQ sauce
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
In a large bowl, mash the black beans with a potato masher or fork until you reach a consistency you’re happy with
Mix in the spices, BBQ sauce and any extras until well combined
Slowly add the bread crumbs until you have a clumpy, sticky mixture that can be shaped into patties
Use your hands to shape the patties and place them on a lined baking sheet
Bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through
Enjoy with your favourite toppings!
